Roxana Clemente is an Associate Attorney at CAVA Law where she began her legal career as a Legal Assistant before pursuing her law degree. After completing her studies, Roxana returned to CAVA Law as an Associate Attorney, focusing her practice on bankruptcy, foreclosure proceedings, and real estate matters.
Roxana earned her Juris Doctor degree from St. Thomas University College of law, graduating magna cum laude in the top 15% of her class. During law school, she was an Articles Editor for the St. Thomas Law Review and a member of the St. Thomas Moot Court Board. During this time, she also externed with the St. Thomas Law Bankruptcy Clinic and the U.S. Department of Justice’s U.S. Trustee Program.
Roxana is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida.
In her free time, Roxana enjoys spending time with family and friends and has a passion for interior design.
With a background in both law and business, Candela is the firm’s Administrative Assistant and the cornerstone of our operations, keeping our team moving forward smoothly. From managing schedules to ensuring seamless communication, her expertise is the heartbeat of the firm’s efficiency.
Franklin is the first you will hear when you call CAVA Law. In charge of phone calls and ensuring the most streamlined client experience possible, Franklin is the firm’s Client Relations Specialist. Coming to CAVA Law with years of customer service experience in the financial industry, and across various communication platforms, he is a valuable member of the team! Franklin has been with the Firm since 2024.
Zashary has been Of Counsel to the Firm since 2022. Holding both Juris Doctor and a Master in Business Administration, Zashary handles a variety of corporate legal matters: from business purchase agreements, to contract formation & negotiation; from shareholder and operating agreements, to partnership disputes. Although her practice now focuses mostly on transactional matters and consulting, Zashary brings to the firm her experience in business litigation, at the state, federal, and appellate levels. Zashary has been nominated annually as a Super Lawyers, Rising Star as a top-rated civil litigation attorney from 2018-2021.
Yeni Ortega has been a Bankruptcy Paralegal with the Firm since 2020.
As a foreign attorney who has dedicated herself to learning the intricacies of the U.S. legal system as a paralegal, Yeni brings a unique and enhanced perspective to her role as bankruptcy paralegal to the Firm.
Celianna has been a Paralegal with the Firm since 2019.
Celianna graduated with a Master’s Degree in Global Affairs with a concentration in International Crime and Justice from Florida International University in 2023. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and a Certificate in Latin America and the Caribbean Studies from Florida International University in 2017. She also graduated Cum Laude with an Associate’s degree in Legal Studies from Florida National University in 2014. Celianna has 10 years of experience working in the legal field as a Legal Assistant & Paralegal for various law firms in Miami and Orlando, FL. Celianna also had the opportunity of being a Program Coordinator for the School of Continuing Education in Miami Dade College-Hialeah Campus for over two years. Her interests include International Crime and Justice, Latin America and the Caribbean history and current events, Human Rights, LGBTQIA+ Rights, and Women’s Rights. Celianna is originally from Havana, Cuba, and only started learning English at the age of 19 when she first moved to the United States. She is now proficient in both English and Spanish.
Jesus brings decades of bankruptcy law experience to CAVA Law, having assisted with his family’s bankruptcy law practice in Puerto Rico since 2009. Now, he brings this value to the firm’s clients, when resolving their legal issues. Moreover, Jesus brings to the firm the dynamic attributes gained through years of military service, having been an Officer and Operations Specialist in the United States Coast Guard. Jesus acquired his Bachelor’s Degree at Florida International University, and thereafter obtained his Juris Doctorate at St. Thomas University School of Law, graduating cum laude within the top ten of his graduating class. While in law school, Jesus was the Vice President of The Federalist Society, and remains very active within the legal profession and the community.
