Christina Vilaboa-Abel, Esq.

Christina Vilaboa-Abel is a founding member and partner of CAVA Law. Her practice encompasses the areas of real estate litigation and transactions, bankruptcy, and creditor rights representation. Christina is admitted to practice in Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Florida International University, and thereafter earned her Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law. She is part of the Faculty of the Florida International University Honors College, where she teaches courses for the pre-law program. Christina is actively involved with the South Florida community, earning recognition from the Southern District of Florida for her pro bono contributions to debtors in need of legal assistance and has been a Super Lawyers Selectee from 2018, 2019, and 2020.

Vanessa C. Angulo, Esq.

Vanessa C. Angulo is a founding member and partner of CAVA Law. Her practice encompasses the areas of bankruptcy, debt litigation and negotiation, real estate litigation and transactions, and creditor rights representation. Vanessa is admitted to practice in federal courts throughout the entire state of Florida, specifically: the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Florida International University. She thereafter earned her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard School of Law. Vanessa spearheads the Firm’s Creditor Rights Representation Department in the Florida bankruptcy courts in all three judicial districts. She is fluent in English and Spanish, both spoken and written.
